What is needed to set up a shared storage system for OS X?

Start with an Archion Fibre Channel storage system that has both the amount of storage you need and the bandwidth to run all the systems you are connecting to it.

A Fibre Channel switch will be needed to connect more than two systems to the storage.

Each system connected will need a "Host Bus Adapter" and optical cable to connect to the storage.
