What happens to my media if a drive fails with an Archion™ system?

Nothing in most situations, because Archion systems are full hardware RAID protected.

The RAID controller will detect the drive failure and automatically recreate and deliver the data as if the drive was still functioning. The controller would then issue a warning beep to tell you that a drive failure has occurred and start rebuilding the data on the built in hot spare.

Ideally, the NLE's will continue functioning as if nothing has happened. However, you might experience an "audio under run" message which you would need to clear to continue working.
